Yoga for Healing, Balance & Transformation

Yoga Offerings:

My Yoga Journey

My yoga journey began in the most sacred space—home. As a child, I practiced yoga with my family every Sunday, not knowing then that those early moments of breath and movement would become the foundation of a lifelong relationship with the practice. It was a time of connection, grounding, and playful exploration that planted seeds in my body and spirit.

In college, as a cheerleader for the University of Kansas, yoga became essential for maintaining my flexibility and physical endurance. It kept my body open and aligned, and slowly I started to realize it was offering me something more—a pause, a breath, a moment of presence in a busy, high-performing lifestyle.

When I entered graduate school, yoga shifted again. It became my anchor. Amid the stress, deadlines, and long hours, it was the one consistent space where I could return to myself. Yoga was no longer just about the body—it was a lifeline for my mental health, a place where I could feel, release, and find sanctuary in stillness and movement alike.

In 2015, my path deepened when I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training. Teaching came naturally—as if my soul had simply been waiting for this invitation to speak. I found my voice, opened my throat chakra, and began connecting more authentically with my community. Yoga became my offering, my medicine, and my way of serving.

As I’ve grown, my practice has matured with me. It has evolved from high-heat vinyasa flows and perfect postures into a more embodied, gentle, and intuitive dance with my breath and soul. After nearly a decade of teaching, I felt called to deepen again. I embarked on my 300-hour advanced yoga and mindfulness teacher training with my longtime mentor and spiritual guide, Hannah Muse, in Santa Cruz, California.

That experience was a sacred rite of passage—an invitation to remember who I truly am and why I came here. It asked me to step outside my comfort zone and release the pressure to perform. No longer about Instagram-worthy poses or handstands, my practice became about presence. I returned to yoga not as a performance, but as a prayer—a quiet, consistent returning home to my perfectly imperfect body.

Now, I practice not to be seen, but to see myself more clearly. To listen. To remember. To rise. Yoga is how I commune with the divine within me. It is my ritual, my teacher, and my joy.
